- Rodrigo joined Akya as a partner in 2003.
- He specializes in the housing finance markets, strategic planning and business and operational improvement programs, as well as in organizational optimization in the retail, consumer goods and financial services industries, among others.
- Prior to Akya he was Deputy Director General of Financial Planning in the Unidad de Apoyo al Cambio Estructural of the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes, where he led the feasibility studies, design and initial implementation of the Metropolitan Airport System, as well as the development of several business plans to diversify and improve air service offerings in the country. Previously, he worked for six years with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on operational and business optimization for financial institutions, financial valuation in telecommunications, the authorization of new financial intermediaries and business development in the railway transport sector, among other experiences. Previously, he worked at Procter & Gamble de Mexico in financial analysis and treasury.
- Rodrigo holds a B. Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and an MBA in Corporate Finance from MIT Sloan School of Management. He also has a Diploma in Corporate Finance from ITAM.
